What you will need:
- A computer [Check]
- An internet connection [Double-check]
- A printer [Best Buy will hook you up!]
- Scissors & glue/tape [Finally! An excuse to buy the Easy Button™ at Staples!]
Why you need these things:
Because PnP means 'Print-N-Play!' For those of you not in the know, there is an entire thriving community of game designers that come together and create board games for you to print out and play at home! One of the more recent examples of one of these games would be the party game, Cards Against Humanity.
Here's a link to the community I'm looking into: http://boardgamegeek.com/geeklist/34664/print-n-play-games-that-people-actually-play
Following is a list of some of the games that have appealed to me:
Gods - You and your fellow gods compete for worshipers.
Utopian Engine - Construct an ancient device from parts scattered to 6 different regions to save the world from Doomsday.
"Oh No, There Goes Tokyo!" - A Godzilla knockoff has attacked Tokyo! (Of course) You and each of your fellow players are in charge of a different region of Tokyo fighting to keep your respective region safe. You do everything from launching nukes to controlling Godzilla!
Sneaking Mission: Solo - A sneaking, base-infiltrating, solitare-esque version of Metal Gear where every game is different!
Find a sexier game out there? Let me know in the comments!
