I finally understand Shigeru Miyamoto's hobby!

For those of you not in the know, Shigeru Miyamoto carries a roll of measuring tape with him everywhere. His hobby is guessing the height of objects from far away then running up and measuring the object to see how close his estimate was.
It always puzzled me why he would find this fun.

Then, I started 3D modeling.

You see, when you model an object in 3D space, you have to know the exact dimensions of everyday objects in relation to the size of your character 'cause if you're off, PEOPLE WILL KNOW.

I've started trying out this hobby of his myself and damn, is it useful! Really helpful when you're developing a modular kit where every single piece has to fit together!

Finally, a modular 1920's reception desk!
